Signe, dressed in her Norwegian festbunad from Hallingdal, is busy making "krimkake" or "crumb cake".  Baked on a special iron, this cardamom flavored cookie is rolled on a wooden cone while warm.  Krumkae is delicate and breaks easily, thus the name "crumb cake"!  Tile is 6"x6" and has a hook in back for hanging. 

These little girls are using a traditional platt pan to make their pancakes.  Thay are ladling lingonberries on them and topping with a dollop of wipped cream!!
